Description
Batman Sword of Azrael DPS by Quesada and Nowlan! What else needs to be said?

Classic Quesada silhouettes and an explosive action scene featuring both Azrael and Batman. Doesn’t get any better than this for peak Quesada art. 1992. Before Knightfall. This series introduced Azrael who would soon become a member of the bat family and then Batman not long after. This DPS is the dramatic conclusion of the 4-part series (only one page after this) and shows Azrael saving Batman rather than just being a merciless angel of vengeance.

Batman: Sword of Azrael #4
"No One Is Innocent”
January, 1993 (released in 1992)

Peak Quesada/Azrael DPS content! Whoa! Huge! Big time! All-Star team with Nowlan on the brush! Congrats man! Even though you went on to write 6 additional sentences after saying "What else needs to be said?" I can't blame you for being excited enough to answer your own rhetorical question ;-p

Ha! I was wondering if anyone was going to call me out on my BS. I guess I was just too excited thinking about the art. Luckily, you are that friend who will tell me when I have a booger on the tip of my nose. Gotta have guys like you around to keep me humble and in check. Thanks bro!

Also, does "1992" really count as a full sentence? I guess it does if I wrote it that way.

The way they do silhouettes is so clever!  They are action shots and must be worked out in perspective and dynamics first.
