Grendel: Devil by the Deed Master Edition pp. 48-49 by Matt Wagner

Superb!

This dps is about twenty different kinds of incredible! The cut of the three panels pulls the eye across the page. The first and third panels being bookends of the scene. The middle (and largest) panel having all the action and a ton of details that define Wagner's work. The Wolf exploding into the gunfire and Grendel's image behind it all. And finally, Grendel enjoying a glass of his no-doubt finest, enjoying what he hath wrought.

Congratulations on this TRUE GEM!. 

Wagner upped the standards for high end indie comics work with not only the art, but the whole mythology built around Grendel.
