Don Wilson? It's maddening that this question can't be definitively answered? Never the less this is an impressive and I think important work. It's great you have the album also.

I think it is Don Wilson. I've read that "The Daily Planet" team was a collaboration between Don Wilson and Peter Amft, they did numerous album covers together.

Very nice as this was before a time they had studios built and you can hear the more crude and raw performance.  Well designed to have the image split for the front and back of the album.  You can hear the cracks in music from the record.
