Description~12" x 16"Acrylic on Hahnemuhle This is the 3rd of 3 paintings for Slam Press Tomes' latest book, Grimm: Visions. There were 12 or so artists that contriuted to this book and we each chose a Brother's Grimm story. I chose Fitcher's Bird. Such a great story. Instead of painting 3 pages of comic panels, I chose to paint 3 pin ups of macguffin-type portraits. This is the bird from the title, a girl disguising herself with feathers. Again, if you can read the story, or better yet, pick up the Grimm: Visions book, this image will make more sense. Cheers!
