Every time I see a commission or comic page featuring Hugo Pratt’s seminal creation I think of adventure, the character inspires artists to create images that always seem to tell an entire story with a single illustration and it just supercharges my imagination.

Carlos Dearmas and Corto Maltese are a perfect pairing of Artist and Character. This is a very fun piece showing Corto and his sometimes friend some times enemy Rasputin. I just love the detail an linework Carlos puts into every piece.
