Description
Over 2025, I acquired more Green Lantern pages by Fernando Pasarin. So many that Pasarin is now the artist of whom I have the most pages. (Well, that may be actually Eduardo Barreto, but that's a 2025 story for another time.)

Included in the frantic Fernando fever rush were several pages from this issue. That made this issue the single published issue from which I own the most pages. It's still only seven of twenty pages, which makes this far from a completing-the-issue sort of thing. Acquiring seven pages from this issue is just a fun milestone for me.

The double page splash -- well let's speak to the elephant in the gallery room that this DPS has three panels, so may not technically qualify as a true DPS -- maybe "double page spread". That not withstanding, this dps features a quintet of Green Lanterns unloading formidable ring power against a quintet of Alpha Lanterns, allowing (on the following page) Guy Gardner to whisk John Stewart out of lantern prison.

This was the era for the DPS to be used in GL books as they made movie level events with big moments at every turn with high stakes for the universe.

I'd love to have been in those meetings for this action-packed issue. Blasting the Alphas was a nice choice for a DPS.

Cinematic and powerful.

Thanks. Pasarin really achieved a widescreen sensation with this.
