A Moment Here
written by Dan Abnett

In the shadow of the statues of the Lost Legionnaires:
Invisible Kid deduces that Apparition (Tinya Wazzo) is pregnant, Dyrk Magz tells Shvaughn Erin that he decided to join the Science Police which sparks interest from Zoe Saugin (Kinetix).

Tinya is the daughter of VP Winema Wazzo (in the background on panel 4, with M’Onel and and Triad), will flee Earth to be beyond her mother's control. (And there’s the pun ‘Mum’s the word’)
Dyrk will be posted to Braal where he will clash with Cosmic Boy.

We've already said ‘Goodbye’.
Since you've got preggo
Oh you had better go now.
Go now. Go now. Go now
Before you see me science
I don't want you to Zoe
Just Dyrk you intend to do now.
'Cause how many times do I have to statue
Erin, darling,
Art still McKone
With you now?

We've already said ‘So long’
I don't want Invisible.
Oh you had Tinya go now.

If anyone can keep Apparition's future kid hidden I'd think it would be Invisible Kid!! ;-) - another nice 6 panel McKone page!

In the comments of the previous page you posted, Aidan mentioned that he feels this is the best drawn issue of this series. I take that to mean that this was simply a fill-in issue by McKone. Well, I haven't seen the art in the other issues, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and concur with Aidan, and ASSUME this is the nicest looking issue just because this art rocks and I can't imagine the odds of other issues having even nicer art than this are very high at all!

There was a lot of interesting styles of art in the other issues but this was the one that returned to basics. And I know, you cannot remember the previous art I posted, but I have recently  posted art from issues 1, 3, and 5. I did post art from issue 4 a long time ago and it was my favorite especially this page.

Oh! I wasn't paying attention to the exact title. I tend to think of any Legion series as Legion, regardless of the slight title differences.

But yes, while McKone may be my favourite of all the artists who done work on this title, I have to admit that this McKone issue may not actually contain my favourite work. I'd have to look at it all again, but given the pages you posted by Guichet, Rivoche and Burchett, I can honestly say that some of that art gives this McKone art a run for its money! Overall, I have to say that this series actually had a very nice and interesting selection of art across the board. Those 3 other artists I mentioned did some really excellent and impressive work.

Nice glossy inks on this story exposition page, making the most of the characters' expressions.
