It's always interesting to see what lines in prelims are most important to the artists, and for nobody more so than Wrightson. The positioning and the sweeps of the branches are really quite beautiful.
I always liked this page for it's unique and wonderful trees in the landscape. Of course the remorse that the alien feels is also very compelling in this sequence !
