Description
I've enjoyed this newspaper strip for as long as I can remember. In fact, this daily appeared just a few weeks after I started breathing. It's much better preserved than I am!

Thanks for taking a look!

I'm a fan of this strip as well.  And may I say (as someone who knows you) I think you're rather well preserved yourself.

SO cool, a a!  (I love it when folks post comic strips, so I can check them out in the a.m. and get my morning funnies giggles.... :) ).  A  W.O.I strip within the first year it was published is an -enormous- get (classic!), and seeing the early designs of the characters is a real treat.  (My Wizard of Id experiences started about a decade after this, when some of the harder edges that you can see on display here were smoothed out a bit over the natural course of time.  Like us all, right? ;) ).  My dad also loved Wizard of Id, and chuckling over this one this morning makes me think of him warmly, along with the cold, winter mornings of my youth.  Thank you, a a!  Great post!

This was always a fun strip to read in the paper and you got yourself one with a nice gag!

November 6, 1965 was a Saturday and of course they would surrender as who wants to work on a Saturday?
