George Pérez, Kerry Gammill, and Brett Breeding Action Comics #652 Story Page 18 Original Art (DC, 1990). Clark battles his Kryptonian heritage and the Eradicator while Ma and Pa Kent try to free themselves from the makeshift shelter Clark made for them out of scrap metal. A gripping page with lots of action and even a great portrait of Darkseid in the last panel. Produced in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Faint toning and minimal handling. Signed by Brett Breeding in the lower right margin. In Excellent condition.

Awesome page by one of my favorite teams!  Kerry Gammill clarified their working process: Perez would provide a rough thumbnail page breakdowns which Gammill would then magnify (via xerox?) and create more detailed layouts/pencil for which Brreding would provide inks or finishes. I love the result of their combined efforts. Credits should be: Perez - breakdowns/layouts, Gammill - pencils, Breeding - inks/finishes.

Agreed! I am surprised this piece was for sale. Seems like a collector has a lot of the pages from this issue.

The page is packed with art and you feel like you're in there with them as these tightly detailed panel walls are crumbling and closing in!
