Pretty cool, like an homage to Terminator movies!  The bricks and the camera work slowly builds towards that moment in the page! 

Jimmy must shreik like a gal!  Right in the heart of the Christopher Reeve era of Superman makign these very popular around the country and the world!

Fun early triangle era of the book!  McLeod's sotrytelling and finishes really sells us on this bearded Superman and the homage to past Superman time travel stories.

Awesome page by one of my favorite teams!  Kerry Gammill clarified their working process: Perez would provide a rough thumbnail page breakdowns which Gammill would then magnify (via xerox?) and create more detailed layouts/pencil for which Brreding would provide inks or finishes. I love the result of their combined efforts. Credits should be: Perez - breakdowns/layouts, Gammill - pencils, Breeding - inks/finishes.

Has Ordway written all over this!

Excellent example!  Goldberg was so much more versatile than just the invention pieces.  He had a firm grasp of comedic storytelling, as we see here, and editorial cartooning that made the invention pieces more refined.

Gammill achieved a lot before he gave up comics for Hollywood story boarding.  His run was short, but memorable.  Notice how he puts action into an essentially quiet page that keeps the reader engaged.
