Description
Between the time when the barbarians ate cheese dip and the rise of Gaines and Evanier, there was a warrior to be a-frayed of.
And unto this, Groo, decided to wear the black helmet of destiny upon a troubled brow.
It is I, his collector, who alone can tell thee of his saga. Now, let me show you a page of fine art adventure!

No one frays a fray like Groo frays!  Great page from the best Aragones period.

The comics world became a better place when Groo was born.  Or more to the point, when his "father" was born.  Anyway, congrats on a hilarious page that's just so typical Groo.

Fantastic!  Groo battle pages are all well and good, but those upon which he wrestles with a troubling quandry and we get a clear view to his moral center?  Priceless!  (And here you even have both!).  ALso, let's just take a moment to reflect upon the fact that this is PAGE 1 of the book, and there are laughs, incredible art, conflict, and an undoubtedly erroneous solution that sets up things for the longer haul (and leaves the reader depserate to turn the page).  Nothing feels rushed or undercooked.  This is absolutely fabulous storytelling on every single level.  Outstanding add, Rick!  Congrats!

Aragonés & Evanier produced the greatest humor fantasy strip, with one Wanderer to Fool them all—such a cool GROO opener, congrats!

I am Groo!  Love the samurai inspired armor here!  Lots of detail that Sergio makes look easy.
