Description
Ninth in my "Untold Tales Of Infinity Inc" series - issue 24.2, continuing an extended storyline - with art by Luis Rivera, adapted from George Perez and Terry Austin's cover to Avengers #173.

In issue 24.1, the fabric of reality began to twist and collapse, and the members of Infinity inc battled to save the inhabitants of Los Angeles, even as some of their team vanished without trace - the Star-Spangled Kid, Northwind and Fury as their travails began, followed by Dr Midnight, Huntress and Hourman, as well as JSA-er the Flash (who had run across the country to join them), as things eventually settled into something approaching normality.

Returning to their HQ in Stellar Studios, the team contact the Justice Society on the East Coast, only to discover that many other members of the JSA have vanished, leaving only Starman and Johnny Thunder at the JSA brownstone to take their call. However, Power Girl establishes that other heroes - including Stripesy and the Shining Knight - are unaffected, leading her to conclude that only the JSA and their heirs are being targeted. Even as she reports this to her fellow Infinitors, though, she herself disappears - to be followed by Wildcat, Nuklon and Brainwave!

Finally, as Silver Scarab, Obsidian and Jade desperately try to contact Doctor Fate, the final three members of the team fade from sight...

... to reappear in an unearthly dimension, where they face the power which has caused them all to disappear - who'll be revealed in the next issue (coming soon)!

I think this works great as you'd buy into these three being in greater danger and we can see the inking having a bigger impact without the tone effect.
