End of the year felt like the right moment to finally share this.

This is the Wonder Woman painting I commissioned from Frank Quitely at the Lake Como Comic Art Festival in 2025. There’s a WW cover Frank did years ago that I’ve always loved. It’s burned into my brain. Rather than chase that exact image, I wanted my own version with the updated design.

What really gets me is the texture. The armor looks worn, heavy, lived in. The fabric has weight. The wraps on the arm feel tight and practical. The tattoo is perfect. It’s not decorative, it feels earned. Even the face has that quiet confidence Frank does so well. Calm, direct, completely unbothered. No posing, no theatrics. Just presence. I love everything about this piece. One of those pieces I can keep looking at and keep finding new things to appreciate. Really grateful I was able to make this happen.

Yeah before I read your description and was looking at the art, I was marveling at the unique surfaces and representations of different materials. Beautiful!
