DescriptionThis is such an aesthetically pleasing page I had to buy it when I saw it on offer on Comic Art Live a couple months ago. The POV, large black shapes, textures, and mood in this are sublime, IMO. Gazing at each panel puts me in a trance. Thanks to Brent for a smooth transaction! And thanks for taking a look! It has a rustic western genre look mixed with the science of Grant's bubble helmet, and the fantasy of the little old witch. All under Scalera's fantastic winter landscapes!

What the heck...I was just staring at this, and my mind kind of drifted as I was moving through the panels. Then I read your note "...Gazing at each panel puts me in a trance." --- which is exactly what happened to me! This one apparently has a bit of magic baked in =)

Love the dichotomy between the top and bottom panels. Especially in the trees. Rendered in shadows at the top, they're a stark contrast to the exquisite use of negative space at the bottom.

Beautiful, beautiful page, a_a. Wow - you can hear the crunch of the feet on the snow in panel 2. I love the woods at the top of panel 1, and panel 3 is absolutely sensational. Perfect use of both black and white paint splash for the snow, all depending on the backdrop (lovely touch). This page is a meal in and of itself and is fulfilling as an experience at every level, to every viewer, regardless of what they're looking for or how deep they wish to delve. From a surface evaluation of "pretty pictures"; as a complete and standalone narrative moment; as a deeper dive into technical aspects of lighting, staging, and execution... it works perfectly as all those things. Incredible add, a_a! Huge congrats!

Nice angles and backgrounds. The wood in the third panel is particularly pleasing.
