Iron Man #54 story page 18, 1972 -- 1st app of Moondragon!

For some reason, Madame MacEvil reminded me of McDowell's Restaurant, home of The Big Mick.  Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, BUT, their bun HAS no seeds!

Anyway, I didn't realize Moondragon was called Madame MacEvil, either.  This is a great action page.  The underwater shots of Iron Man are excellent!

Dammit! I was going to make a couple of McDonald's puns but you used them up already and now I got nothing! Okay, I guess I'll just be serious and say how cool it is that you get a fun page deaturing Iron Man vs Submariner, AND a bonus 1st appearance of Moondragon!

I wonder if they were fan casting Persis Khambatta for Moon Dragon after Star Trek the Movie?  With Tuska, Everett, and Colletta we can see their strengths all over this page.  Everett has got to be bringing that underwater action while Tuska's Iron Man armor shows so much life!  All with Vinnie's inks that take great care!

I know it's listed, but I wouldn't have pegged this as Vinnie's inks.  Much richer and heavier than I'm used to seeing.  I really like it.

He knew that Everett's work deserves the extra care.

This is the kind of page you want!  Has a bit of everything.  I bought this issue when it came out, but had forgotten 'Madame MacEvil'. LOL

Almost any page that features Iron Man and Subby battling is an epic start, and this one is a great one from the era! AND you get Moondragon in her first appearance issue, yea I'd say that's a banger! awesome page, congrats Paul!

Adding a 1st appearance page is really something to be happy about.  I don't really care if it was the eighth time in that issue  The only thing better would be the actual page she makes the 1st appearance on.  Congrats!!!
