Black Canary by Jordi Bernet

After commissioning the first Black Canary piece, I was told that Jordi enjoyed drawing it and did a few more. When I saw them on Miguel's website, I knew I had to have two of them.

As before, all I can say is "wow." Jordi is a legend, doing art the way it was done in the classic days of illustration and newspaper comic book strips. He stands with Caniff, Raymond, Robbins, Toth, any of the greats. I am thrilled to have this piece in my collection, capturing the beauty and allure of one of the greatest female comic book characters of all time - - with a tip of the hat to Alex Toth himself, of course.
