ROM by Fred Hembeck (2024)

Fred-ROM! gotta love the "black and white" style sketch cards Fred does using the negative space of the background, and those little subtle touches of color. Nice one!

ROM-tastic!

The eyes and the gun really do look like a toy's LED lights using that technique. Nice Fred sketch.

Fred's take on ROM makes me want to go to CES (Consumers Electronic Show)

Manb, you had to go intothe secondary market to get a Hembeck sketch card? They really ARE in large demand! One thing that always surprised me, Marvel neve bothered to come out with a character called RAM, as a villain to oppose ROM. It could've been the "Battle of the different memories"!

RAM is temporary.  ROM is forever.

I know, but RAM could've been uber powerful for a short period of time, just long enough to give ROM a bit of a run for his money!

The price of RAM is going up because of the demand of AI uses.  The more ROM left for us.

ROM-beck!  A great rendition of the spaceknight by Fred!  Love the icy blue sheen and quirky little Hembeck grin (which really was the only thing missing from the original classic design, right?  Imagine how much more dire those wraiths would be as they got banished to Limbo by an arch-enemy who has a sweet and charming, effortless little grin on his helmet...  Talk about winning the battle -and- the war...!). Great pick up, Rick!
