Absolute Batman #1 Sketch Cover

Happy New Year! And here to ring in 2026 is a freshly completed sketch cover of Absolute Batman. After two weeks of work, this mixed media interpretation of this very different Dark Knight turned out beautifully. Working from photo reference for the pose and the background, I challenged myself to break new ground in how I approached both character and setting. It also gave me a chance to give Batman a more aggressive demeanor than I had the last time I drew him. Expect this in the "Art For Sale" section in 24 hours.
