John Byrne is one of the best there is at what he does, and what he does is awesome!

Well, yeah, I hadda get a Wolverine too!
Like the infamous Wolverine gutting the Hellfire Club guard sketch in The Art of John Byrne, Vol. 1, I love this likeminded disemboweling of a generic guard from the same era. Now don’t get me wrong, I love Stan Lee, but unfortunately someone felt the need to stick this under his nose while his hand was scribbling, and it’s been marred ever since. Luckily, a scan from before the graffiti event exists, and that’s how I’m rolling.

Here’s a tip from your favorite mutant, WOLVERINE…

Lobe Byrne's Wolverine. The carnage however, brings up road kill imagery though and totally over the top! Congrats, btw.

Great piece of vintage Byrne art! As you know, I love this time period of his work as well! This may not have been in the Art of John Byrne book but it could have been. Congrats!

Great gore! For some reason, I really seem drawn to the detailing on the hapless opponent's boots which reminds me a little of Sinkevitch's loose lines.

To have Wolverine doing what he does the best by Byrne is a plus to any collection! This one is specially good!! What a Berserker!
