That art rivals the vietch/totleben/bissette era. Impressive

Nice organic effects - very moody. The use of inset panels is great, and gives space for storytelling against the expansive backdrop of the (super)natural landscapes. Nice page!

Goddamn this is a killer page! Love it. And I see GL sneakin' in there like Waldo amongst the ink washy goodness. And that final shot of Trinity is gorgeous.

Really great sky and environment details, that work so well in black and white.  Cheers!

Dramatic imagery only Perkins can do.  They should make this into a movie and have Mike do all the concept and storyboard art.  Great page.

These pages age very well with lots of staying power because of the horror genre being evergreen.

Swampy!  You can really feel the pre-storm humidity in this scene.

I see him - Perkins and V just nailed every aspect of this run. Something borrowed, something new - I'm ready to get married!

Wow, so much excitement, atmospherics, texture & action, with barely a punch thrown, now that’s some cool storytelling, congrats!

Perkins has such a great style that is so well matched to Swamp Thing.  Love the composition of that final panel.

I don't collect much modern art but I have a few pages from this series - great stuff and Trinity is a favorite!

That headshot at the bottom looks SO much better in b&w that it does in color on the published page.

Perkins work really is something special.  I had not bough a comic book in a few years (TPB are easier these days), and had to hae the entire seeries because of the story and the art. Congrats.

Perkins does such a great job of making the landscape feel otherworldly. The inks are also wonderful.

An impressive and truly horrifying dark page ! Would give me creepy nightmares if I had this page at home, lurking somewhere in the dark!

Another smorgasbord of awesomeness from this gorgeous and fantastic run!  Here on the final stretch of issues, Mike seemed to get even -more- inspired and dedicated himself to throwing everything he had onto the page - brushwork and ink wash and white paint alike - to craft art that took Ram V's forward-thinking story and dialed it up to 11.  Two titans tussling in front of a crackling cinematic skyscape, a fallen interstellar, hyper-intelligent cactus pod, a beautiful portrait of another major player (still neutral, but looking for a side)... this page is just dripping with one big idea after another, and Mike sticks the landing on all of it (much better than the cactus's landing, it would seem...).  Beautiful page, Rick!  Huge congrats!

Wow! This is why I don't mind that collectors wait years before posting art they've acquired. So much time passes that I completely forget about the art. Then when it's finally posted, the memories come flooding back so hard and I get to remember just how great the art is! I love this entire series, the writing, the art and the characters. The scenes on this page are the stuff of nightmares, and Trinity looks so creey and scary. Awesome!
