DescriptionThis is one of those Gasoline Alley word-play Sunday pages that Dick apparently had fun with from time to time. The gags are just okay, but I'm a sucker for the way Dick drew Becky the donkey. I love that beautiful cross-hatching and how he could maintain weight in her figure without doing much shadow work. That humor doesn't hold up, but the art style is very 70's with the scenes reduced to cartoon shapes and patterns to look very clean contrasted to the grungy everyday reality.
