DescriptionOriginal Cover Art - Manuel Sanjulian (Spanish, * June 24th, 1941).'Death Angel' is a commission painting which will be used as poster in a Science Fiction & Fantasy Calendar which I am working on. The painting is Manuel's interpretation of a dark but angelic warrior. I like the depth created here with the colors and shadows in his unique style. Oil on canvas (size: 16.5 x 23.3 in). Masterful with great visual appeal. The thing is that you can't tell if this was done today or decades before because his high level of quality through decades remains.

Sanjulain can do no wrong. The composition is wobderful, and the deep reds of the folds of fabric are gorgeous. Stunning painting.
