Williamson, Al - Secret Agent Corrigan - 1968-08-01

A November 2006 purchase from the great man himself, Al and his loving wife Cori Williamson. Take a look at the character in the final panel... doesn't he look familiar? Remember Brave & Bold #85 was the August-September 1969 issue -- the better part of a year after this daily was published! Neal said he hadn’t seen these dailies, but would like to, so I showed him this one and another. Seeing the originals, Neal looked carefully at them and said that the resemblance was too superficial, and more importantly that he never got to see Secret Agent Corrigan because it wasn’t carried by any of the newspapers he saw in New York. “We couldn't find it. The first I saw of Williamson’s Secret Agent Corrigan was when he gave me some samples so that I could ghost for him for a couple of weeks.” I told Neal “I thought it was for only a week.” He said, “You’re probably right.” Adams ghosted Williamson’s Corrigan for six consecutive dailies 8-14-67 to 8-19-67.
