DescriptionPresented here is one of Doc Savage's faithful aides, Andrew Blodgett Mayfair... better known as Monk.During the war where he met Doc and the other members of the "Fabulous Five", he held the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and is known as one of the world's leading chemists. Called "Monk" because of his long arms, big hands, and gigantic feet, he was raw strength enough to bed pennies with his mere fingers. Of course Monk was Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's inspiration for "The Beast" of the X-Men. This sketch Card is by the immensely talented Evan Driscoll. I've worked with him and collected his work quite a lot. This Sketch Card marks my 25th by him. Please check them out here on CAF, and if interested, reach out to him on eBay under studo_haedes. ...and if you're a Doc fan, make sure to check out the fun back of this card. Evan always does nice touches like this. Social/Sharing |
