Description
New suit alert. We got a preview of the new look on the X-men Gold 16 cover, and this was the moment where Old Man Logan got his new suit, which he called a "costume" ha!

Lashley's gritty style worked great on this book and was a great fit for this page featuring the gritty and grouchy Old Man Logan. It was also really cool to see the main image was also used on the back cover of the Volume 4 trade paperback.

Anyone else using that much angular shading shapes would get lost in the business of it but Ken just nails it. There's a nice cohesive beauty overall. Great choice in a page!

Sick new suit!!! ErrrI mean costume! So fresh it still has the tag on it! Great page and another double published usage feather in your OA cap! Congrats.

Can't ever go wrong with a claws out Wolverine taking up the dead center of your page!

Okay, George, let's try to clear this up. Like Logan, I, too, refer to superhero costumes as "costumes". But sometimes "suit" comes out of my mouth. I don't think about it. It's instinctive. Sometimes "costume" comes out and other times "suit" comes out. For me, they've alway been interchangeable. So tell us all, because I'm sure many others are also curious, why do you think "costume" is funny? But either one is preferable to "tactical field outfit", that's for sure!

Yes, I also interchange the two from time to time. This made me laugh because the guy wearing it is calling it a costume, which implies he feels like he's playing dress up, or that they are going overboard with their "tactical field outfits." He always struck me as the guy that could show up in boots, jeans, and a t-shirt and kick butt and take names. With that said I dig the look.

Ah, glad to know you also interchange the two! And yes, I agree with what the gag was about. Especially on terms of them going overboard by trying to refer to a costume/suit with a complicated name nobody would ever remember, let alone use! Either way, I, too, dig the look.

Pretty cool with the SHIELD Triskelion as the establishing shot giving Logan's new suit moment the feel of a James Bond upgrade from Q.
