Description
Robert Armstrong, one-time member of R. Crumb's Cheap Suit Serenaders and the man who coined the term "couch potato" is also one of the original underground comix cartoonists. Here is a 1979 portrait of his most infamous cartoon character Mickey Rat. This image originally appeared in Koochie Koodle Gallery of Art & Comic Sketching #1 (published by Wayne Gibson in 198o).
