Bob Mcleod penciled and inked this page for DC Comics published in 1991. It features Superman in costume and the villain Chronos, who he drew to resemble Richard Nixon. The script is by Roger Stern, hand-lettered by Bill Oakley.

Bob McLeod is an American comics artist best known for co-creating the New Mutants with writer Chris Claremont. He has written and illustrated a children's book, Superhero ABC, which was published by Harper Collins in 2006 and received starred reviews from School Library Journal and ABA Booklist. He also edited TwoMorrows Publishing's Rough Stuff magazine which featured interviews and art by top creators in the comics field. In 2018, McLeod received the Inkwell Awards Joe Sinnott Hall of Fame Award for his many years of inking. Website: bobmcleod.com

Fun early triangle era of the book! McLeod's sotrytelling and finishes really sells us on this bearded Superman and the homage to past Superman time travel stories.
