Description

Batman and Jason Burr are in a predicament. Being suspended above Ra's al Ghul's Lazarus Pit is not where you want to be.

This story was originally slated to be Kobra 8.

I used to have page 1 of this story and stupidly parted with it.

Kobra was created by Martin Pasko, Steve Sherman, Jack Kirby and Pablo Marcos.

Batman was created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane.

That almost throwaway vertical panel of Batman just grabs your attention and never lets go.  Totally steals the show from that larger Kobra panel.

Loved that Dollar Book!  This is case where the Nasser/Rubinstein's interiors lived up to the quality promised on the cover!

One of my all-time favorite Batman stories, that I bought off the newsstand. I was thrilled to find 2 pages from this story over the years. Nasser and Rubenstein are channeling their best Adams art in these pages. Congrats!
