Great looking alternate cover! A silhouetted Spidey in an iconic pose! Lots to love here even if it wasn't ultimately used. Nice work tracking down the prelim and colored images as well!
Great pickup! Love the amount of detail on the page.
We already know what Spidey looks like after 537 issues, the silhouette is enough as the detail gets put into everything else.
Vintage silouhette...spidey is about to lay a smackdown
Very cool Spider-man drawing. I love the silhouetted image of Spidey hanging upside down. I also love the startled and fearful faces of the hoodlums gathered in the alley. They lookj worried and they should. I can't imagine why this wasn't punlished. It's a top notch piece. Congrats on a fantastic pick-up.
Not sure why it wasn't used! Pefrect contrast of the Spidey silhouetted vs the do badders. Published or not it's a striking piece. Congrats!
Dang, this SHOULD be used!! Hopefully it will some day, because it is fantastic! Great add my friend.
What a cool Spider-Man cover (Even if it wsn't used)! I think it was very bold of Ron Garney to depict Spider-Man simply in sihouette! We can still tell just by his pose that it's him. And it allows us to focus on the nasty gang of thugs he's cornered in the alley. Love all the detail Ron included, from the trash in the garbage can to the tags spray-painted on the brick wall! Awesome pick-up, congrats!
