Description

Here's a piece I got for a song (to put up in my son's room) directly from the artist DuVal Stowers at SDCC 2006. It depicts the entire Popeye clan, including every character I can think of and a whole bunch I don't recognize from that series. Popeye counts as a golden age hero. He had superpowers, saved Olive and others and had comics running from at least the early 1940's. This was the cover for a Popeye fan club newsletter.
