Description
From Green Lantern Special #2. First, I have to thank Bronze- is-Gold for parting with this. This was from the first Green Lantern Comic that I ever received as a kid and I can still remember that day vividly . During the summer, on the back of my Father's Motorcycle holding on for dear life on the backseat bars as, he stopped at the local Mom and Pop Gas Station that I would normally get Comics from and found this. Seeing this page was just plain serendipity at it's finest. He's been gone for over 12 years now and it's nice to see him again when I look at this.

I remember you said that it was your first Green Lantern comic but didn't know the story connected with you dad the way you expressed it here.  Makes me even happier the art ended up in your hands.  And an added bonus that Old Timer takes off on a motorcycle on this page.  Anything I can do to connect someone with their dad in a positive way is a blessing to me - seems we lost our dads around the same time.  I had this page fifteen years - may you enjoy it even longer.
