Description
One of my favorite series of the 21st century is actually a full-on throwback to the 20th.
Fantastic Four: World’s Greatest Comics Magazine isn’t a reboot or a “modern update”—it’s a straight-up love letter to classic Lee & Kirby. It imagines adventures happening right between issues #100 and #101, with the same energy that made FF great back in the day. No gritty re-dos, no clever updates—just fun stories paying tribute to a legendary run.
This page is a perfect example: classic storytelling, crystal-clear art, and the full team (plus Crystal) and Namor throwing down with the Sentry. Layouts by Erik Larsen, pencils by Paul Ryan, inks by Al Milgrom.
Contributors to this 12-issue series also included Bruce Timm, Ron Frenz, Keith Giffen, and Rick Veitch among others —and they all spoke fluent Kirby.

This was indeed a great tribute. What a fantastic looking page!

It's great stuff as the 90's hyped style was dying down and the mainstream companies tried to bring back the older audience with nostalgia driven projects.  They really did a nice job of the classic Kirby / Sinnott style of FF action!
