Morbius realizes when he is a vampire he will need more protection than his tattered costume can provide. At Thrash + Gaudeville, Morbius finds a full-leather outfit (with cape) that he suspects will give him a good amount of protection. This becomes the iconic suit he wears when transformed as a vampire, in this entire series.
