And I love the sight of Robert Duvall in a movie. Sadly, that number of films has now become fixed. No more new roles or new sterling performances from this legend who Al Pacino says was born to be an actor. Lucky for all of us, that list of movie and TV performances is long and distinguished. So take your pick.

The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, Tender Mercies, The Great Santini, Rambling Rose, To Kill A Mockingbird, Lonesome Dove, Open Range, True Grit, Falling Down, The Natural, John Q, Jack Reacher, Gone In 60 Seconds, Days Of Thunder, and so many more. When it comes to Robert Duvall, it doesn’t really matter which one you watch. Because you know you’re watching one of the best to ever do it.
