The Ultimates commission by Bryan Hitch

THIS. This has been the kind of commission I've dreamed of since first reading The Authority 25ish years ago, and compulsively devouring all 24 Hitch issues of The Ultimates that followed it. The list of artists I still don't own art from continues to get shorter, but the name Bryan Hitch remained stubbornly affixed near the top of that list. It was a long wait, but while I've still never been fortunate enough to meet Bryan, thanks to Bill Cox DREAMS DO COME TRUE.
I watched Bryan's appearance on CAF Live in Nov of 2025, and saw all the great pieces he offered. I was close to pulling the trigger on a couple, but decided to commission exactly what I wanted- The Ultimates. I mentioned to Bill the team portraits I've commissioned, but Bryan wasn't thrilled with that boring ol' layout. Instead, I got what appears to be a refreshed take on the legendary Volume 2 #1 cover, but this time with so much more Hulk!
