Description
The original cover art for the 1974 novel, "JAWS." Fifty-one years ago, in the mid-1970’s, David Larkin, Art Director of PAN Books in London, commissioned John Holmes to illustrate the front cover to the 1974 novel by Peter Benchley, "JAWS." This art was first used on the UK Pan Book first published in 1974. A year later, an artist named Roger Kastel adapted the same elements into ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC MOVIE POSTERS OF ALL TIME for a film single-handedly responsible for why we’re all pussies when it comes to the ocean. It all began HERE.
