Nightcrawler claims the “Iron” Throne

A dream commission and pickup from OAX 2026. The legendary Alan Davis takes on the “Iron” Throne with one of the mainstays from his time on Excalibur, everyone’s favorite fuzzy blue elf, Nightcrawler! Alan based his throne design off an actual piece of German history, The "Reichstag Throne" a highly ornate, 19th-century Kaiser-era chair, often referred to as the "Kaiserlichstuhl," crafted for the German Reichstag but rarely used by Kaiser Wilhelm II. Designed by Anton Pruska, with carvings by Georg Hulbe and Anton Pössenbacher, it originally stood in the Bundesrat lobby, representing the grandeur of the German Empire. Alan replaced those carvings with Iron Man’s helmets and delivered the perfect seat for our favorite German born X-Man.
