Description
Following up on the Nancy Sunday strip I just posted, here's Fritzi Ritz a la Caroline Cash.

Cash drew all of the badge illustrations for this year's MoCCA Arts Festival in New York put on by the Society of Illustrators. MoCCA is NYC’s largest independent comics and cartoon festival. This was my favorite of the badges but they're all good. I believe all of the badge illustrations sold at this year's OAX.

Fritzi has the same look I get on my face when looking at HA Signature Auction results! Some fun badge designs in there for MoCCA, you picked a good one!

Holy shit! Aunt Fritzi went and got TWO full tattoo sleeves?!? Wow, she's really hip with the times! I've loved Fritzi Ritz for decades. In fact, I'm the proud owner of the earliest known Nancy appearance in existence, from a 1933 Fritzi Ritz daily. It predates the next earliest known surviving daily by 5 years, and it also has a fun gag on it.

This, by the way, really has a Love & Rockets feel to it, don't you think?

It certainly does have a L&R feel. At OAX, Cash gifted me another piece that will definitely confirm the influence of that series. Will post that in a day or two.

That early Nancy is great to look at. I forgot you had that.

Gifted you the piece? Wow, lucky you! But having been such a big supporter, it's nice to see an artist recognize that support from a fan and show their appreciation that way. You deserve it! I look forward to seeing it when you post it.

Fritzi Ritz's years of life on the street is an untold story that Cash should explore in future strips.

Fritz(i) looks aghast, perhaps at the "Woims."
