Description
Maxima voices her Self-Awareness to Kal-El and this convinces him to follow her to Almerac. Meanwhile, Sazu stews in the background.

Thanks to Bill Cox for for helping me secure four more new original art pages through Bryan Hitch from Adventures of Superman Annual #3 and delivering at #OAX2026. Huge assist and very appreciated.

Right after I received the pages I went to go see Louise Simonson to have all my pages signed by the author. I apologized in advance for having her sign 30 pages and a comic book, but she seemed fascinated to see the original pages again. When I asked her to take a photo with one page, she asked almost already knowing the answer, "Is this your favorite page?" to which I answered "yes!" Great memories and moments at #OAX2026.

My favorite Comic Book from the year 1991!

My #2 of my Top Ten Favorite Superman stories ever!

For an in-depth explanation of what this comic means to me, listen to me discuss the issue on my podcast here!

Very happy to have secured this page from one of my favorite stories ever! 29 down, 27 pages to go!

I've also included my up-to-date Want List/Missing Pages Infographic on my Want Page and as an additional image.

How can we be lovers if we can't be friends
How we need Maxima then the fighting never ends, baby
How can she make love if she can't make amends
How can we need Lois if she can't be, can't be friends

Superman needs to set Sazu up with Jimmy Olsen to get her off his back.

A really nice page with those puter spacey backgrounds and great images of the main characters. Congrats on passing the 50% mark in terms of the complete story quest, by the way!

Truth and reconciliation. The starfield in the background adds great ambience to this more thoughtful moment.

I always loved this page, where Maxima makes known her erroneous ways! Congratulations!

Man that first panel is gorgeous, as is every shot of Maxima! Quite the change in mood on Kal-El in that penultimate panel, top tier Maxima deception!? Hmmm....

DANG! 30 pages assembled from an annual is a monumental task! And a great annual you picked to chase. Congrats on adding this and other pages to your quest. I will keep my eyes peeled and hope you are able to some day reunite all of the pages from this issue.

That's quite a Maxima achievement of pulling together so many pages from a big annual! Congratulations! Love how the space scenes complement the figures. Great photo of you and Louise holding the page but who's the guy in the background, lol!
