Sometimes the quite moments are illustarted best. This is one of those pages.
Superman's discussion of Maxima's attributes, contextualised in compassionate terms of cultural differences, is top SF stuff - very Star Trek. All done at a gentle pace.
This is one of the most emo dialogue sequences I recall seeing in a Superman comic and I'm absolutely here for it. Looks fantastic art wise and I can't stop reading every page you post - I'm gonna have to read this whole annual from front to back now. 30 pages down, 26 to go!
