Why an unknown romance strip by Alvin Hollingworth?

Historical importance? That's a piece of it.
Alvin C. Hollingsworth was an American fine art painter, cartoonist and educator, who began his career in the 1940s and 1950s drawing mostly for crime, horror and young romance comics. Along with Matt Baker, he was one of the few African-American artists in the early years of the American comic book industry.

But really, his art is just fantastic and kind of hard to find.
