Description
Thought I'd open my first gallery on CAF with a big one. I hope it isn't too crass to offer it for sale as well. More art to come.

This is my cover for SUPERMAN/SPIDER-MAN #1, (March 2026), a one-shot, oversized (72pg), crossover comic from DC Comics and Marvel Comics. It marks the 50th anniversary of the first DC/Marvel crossover, SUPERMAN VS. SPIDER-MAN, published in March, 1976.

It is also the first time I have ever drawn Spider-Man, and who knows, maybe the last, so that was fun.

Roughly 2-up size at 15.25"x22" (13.25"x20" image area), colored pencil on toned 140gsm/65lb 100% cotton drawing paper.

I love that! That's exactly the sort of feeling I was going for. Thank you!

Now, maybe I should try to make a stereoscopic version...

Welcome to the madness Josh! I am a huge fan of your work and am stoked you are here! This piece is stunning. I love how you varied the blues in each of the costumes. Tricky with two characters SO close in color scheme.
