Harry Potter movie Hufflepuff crest design art by Tommy Lee Edwards (2000) - Viz Dev / OAX / Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

This is the final Hufflepuff crest artwork designed and painted by Tommy Lee Edwards in 2000 for the first Harry Potter film, which released in 2001.

This painting was used in visual development (viz dev) on the Harry Potter films and was used to create all the Hufflepuff crests seen throughout the movies, and tons of merchandise including buttons, posters, stickers, pins, and patches, which were based on this design.

Tommy was brought in early in the film process to design all the Harry Potter crests along with the looks for many of the characters in the film (sometimes before they were even cast) and various props and key items in the film.

This is the closest thing I have to a movie prop and I'm thrilled to own a piece of history from Tommy, the film and franchise. Big thanks to Tommy and The Artist Bullpen for bringing this to OAX.
