Description
I have always been a Spidey Guy growing up, and Peter Parker/Spider-man will always be my favorite superhero comicbook character. In my late 20's I also discovered the Ultimate Spider-man comics, and I own and read the entire Ultimate Spider-man Graphic Novel series with the exception of the last book, in which the Ultimate Peter Parker/Spider-man dies. I guess that made me very upset and to this day I have not finished reading the book. I have to revisit that book someday and finish it, as the Ultimate Spiderman was exquisitely written by Brian Michael Bendis. I have to admit, that Miles Morales was an acquired taste for me. I did not appreciate Peter Parker being replaced at all. It wasn't until the movie Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse comes out that the character finally wins me over. I now really enjoy and appreciate his character development, the movies, and the toys very much.

I am very happy to add this piece to my collection. It is actually my first Miles Morales piece. I love the perspective on how Spider-man is falling down on the viewer from the rain at night.

How the world turns.

Sick Miles Spidey piece by Egar! Man he's been putting out some banger illustrations/commissions. congrats on your first Miles piece too. As someone who considers Ultimate Spider-Man the best mainstream comic book run of the last 25+ years since it started coming out in 2000 I both empathize with you while also encourage you to eventually finish reading the run as the end of it certainly packs an emotional punch, but it's done extremely well and is worth finishing. Will leave it at that. Great piece!

Man, that subtle outining and color...not easy to do with an essentially all black piece.  Very nice, indeed.  Congrats!
