This one comes from my buddy The Professor aka Derek Crabbe!

I saw Derek at OAX last weekend and he told me he had a present that was being shipped directly to my house. Soon after I got home a package arrived and this awesome Logan Lubera Punisher production character model for the Superhero Squad toy line was inside.

I showed the art to my wife and she immediately said, "It's you!" She was convinced Derek had an artist draw a caricature of me as the Punisher and even said it was my hairstyle from a while back. Granted, this toy design art was completed in 2014, but who am I to tell my wife she's wrong?

Anyway, thanks Derek for such a thoughtful gift!

Good on Derek for such a personalized piece of art as a gift even though it also wasn't technically personalized. How is that even possible!!??? Daryl Castle in toy format. So I guess the next question is where was Daryl in 2014 when Logan Lubera was up against a deadline to draw this Punisher. Please don't tell me because my head canon is going to be better anyways.

I can't compete with your head canon. Also, I'm relieved that I now don't need to account for my whereabouts in 2014! 😅
