Outstanding and memorable early work from Lapham, and Dixon's inks do it justice!
Really cool of them to use the classic 9 panel format in this #1 to harken back to the birth of the silver age before the story diverges in wild directions. That head shot in panel 8 is very cool!

Nice pick up. Interesting to see all the faces have past ups, or were touched up. I know this is really early Lapham so I wonder if Shooter had a LOT of feeback on the visual acting. IMO turned out great especally for such an early job from Lapham. Congrats.
