2000 AD Prog 2146 (Jaegir Valkyrie)

More great future war from one of my favorite comic series in many years. Here we see a dramatic Southern Cross Confederacy assault on their own ground installation ("We go in hot"). Coleby enhances the military action by focusing on the cool ship design with Souther attack leaders inside the cockpit, then shifts to puzzled Nort troops on the planet below. As usual, the circular logos on spaceships and troop uniforms allow us to easily discern which side they're on. Throughout the story, almost all the characters somehow appear disfigured or grotesque, reflecting the exceedingly ugly situation they find themselves in....
