Superboy #18 page 3 (1991)

The Adventures Of Superboy was a short lived 22 issue series from the early 1990's showcasing the boy of steel.

This series was different from other Superman or Superboy titles in that it was set in the continuity of the Superboy television series, as opposed to the regular DC Universe (as the original Superboy was erased from mainstream DC continuity after the 1985 miniseries Crisis on Infinite Earths, with Superman beginning his superhero career as an adult). Its intent was to explore some of the unseen tales and events that the TV series could not.

Lights. Camera. Action... A movie director is in trouble with some shady unsavory underworld characters and Superboy needs to come to his rescue. Superboy has his work cut out for him as a talisman that endows it's wearer with supernatural powers rivaling that of Superboy himself is up for grabs.

On this page we are watching a movie and seeing the director's on screen alter ego Starbust as he battles a Godzilla-like monster.
