Description
This cover is so cool on multiple levels; it has an incredible looming shot of a classic Mars Attacks martian which in and of itself is awesome. The icing on the cake for me is the characters in the containment tubes which include Optimus Prime from Transformers, Popeye, a Ghostbuster, a "Zombies vs. Robots" robot, and two of the founding members of KISS (Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons)!!

Special thanks to Nando Xavier for the info on the robot in the containment tube!

I gotta admit there is a resemblance there... but I don't think Starslayer would be caught dead in platform boots!!  :)

Man Byrne really has the special gift of making you want to buy the comic by drawing such cool covers! Now I also want a Kiss comic drawn by Byrne! CONGRATS!!!

Thank you for the comment!  Further up in the comments, Rick W made the same observation as you did regarding Starslayer!  I replied "I gotta admit there is a resemblance there... but I don't think Starslayer would be caught dead in platform boots!!  :)
